Spaghetti in 30 minutes!
The dilemma
Ever come home from a long day of work and you just don’t feel like cooking? I have, this past week I have more days of feeling like this than I haven’t. It seems like this year has felt that way so far.
In the past few months I have said to hell with it and just ordered out. Now, I know this is the quick thing to do, but it is certainly not the healthiest. We all know that a home cooked meal is always the better choice! Not to mention my family loves it when I cook and eat every finger licking portion on their plates.
The Fix
Through the years I have figured out a few short cut ways to get dinner on the table quicker. I have to admit that cooking from scratch is better, but that’s not always convenient for busy schedules. The bottom line is that anything from your own kitchen is better than eating out. So, I have a few meals up my sleeve that make getting a homecooked meal on the table faster. One of those ways is to use ready make sauces.
Spaghetti
Spaghetti using a ready made sauce is the perfect meal to make on those days that you just want to get dinner done quickly so you can settle down and rest your tired feet. I can use a ready made sauce and dress it up so that no one will ever know I took a short cut. All that they know is that their taste buds are happy and their bellies are full. Now that’s a win for everyone.
