Today we are in the Kitchen Cookin up some Sauteed Mustard Greens w/Sweet Peppers and Onions. I am excited to share this recipe with you because I am really proud of it. I was able to come up with a delicious way to cook these Mustard Greens that taste great and with no Sodium! Yes, you heard correctly no Salt!

Sauteed Mustard Green w/ Sweet Peppers and Onions

Healthy and Delicious Sauteed Mustard Greens w/ Sweet Peppers and Onions.
This is a delicious dish that will have your taste buds doing a dance.
Add 2 pats of Butter to a heated pan on medium-low heat and Melt butter making sure to coat the entire pan.
Add Minced Garlic to the Melted butter and saute in a pan for 30 seconds
Next, Add Onions and Peppers to the pan and stir.
Make sure the mixture is thoroughly coated with butter
Stir and saute for 2-3 minutes or until translucent.
Add Greens to the pot and season the greens with a pinch of Black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne.
Mix the greens with the seasonings well making sure to coat the greens with all of the seasonings in the pot.
Now, add 1/4 cup of water to the pan or just enough water to cover the bottom of your pot.
Cover and Simmer on medium-low heat for 10 Minutes
After 10 minutes, add ginger, honey, and juice from the lime to the greens.
Mix thoroughly, cover, and cook on low heat for 10 more minutes.
After 10 Minutes taste, (if you like add more honey and ginger to your liking )
If you add more cook for 2-5 more minutes and Serve!
Recipe Notes
***If you choose to use salt, My suggestion is to add it at the end of the recipe
