Dear Nosey People

Dear Nosey People

Confessions #2:  Dear Nosey People

Hello All,

Today’s episode of the “Young and Restless” has been replaced with the “Young and Nosey!”……..dum dum dum…….

Ok, ok……. I won’t bombard you with a long story,  but I will say this …..Nosey people drive me crazy!

There are two types of nosey people.

There’s the shameless nosey neighbor type who is in everybody’s business, but doesn’t mean any harm.  [mks_pullquote align=”left” width=”300″ size=”24″ bg_color=”#ba0b1c” txt_color=”#ffffff”]”The Shameless”[/mks_pullquote]

You know this person,  they’re always listening, eavesdropping, looking out of the windows and doing what ever needs to be done to find out what’s going on.  I once had a neighbor who would actually bring desserts over to people’s apartments in my complex so that she could get information on what’s going on.  Yep, she went that far.

But,  she never did it to spread anyone’s business around it was just for her own nosey purposes.  I don’t really have a problem with this type of Nosey because it’s shameless but harmless.

This leads to our second nosey type whom  I despise……

The nosey neighbor who is in everybody’s business and is willing and ready to tell everyone.  ………A.K.A. ” The Gossiper”[mks_pullquote align=”left” width=”300″ size=”24″ bg_color=”#d3103e” txt_color=”#ffffff”]”The Gossiper”[/mks_pullquote]

This nosey type is the worst!  They really don’t care if the info they receive is true are not,  they just love telling people’s business.  The funny thing about it is that they’re very “tight-lipped” with their personal business.

Dear Nosey People,

Here’s how I feel about you.  It’s time to stop this madness.  I’m sure that finding  joy in other people’s problems is some type of twisted way of making yourself  believe that your life isn’t that bad.

News Flash!  Finding joy in other people’s problems will not change the life you’re living.  Not today, not tomorrow, and not ever if you don’t stop this behavior.

One last thing.   I’m sorry,  but if you’re gossiping about other people instead of tending to your own business you can’t be my friend.  You can’t even be an associate.  Sorry!

Negative is your name and you will not tarnish my positive space.  So be gone!

Love,

Toni

And that end’s another segment of  “What’s Toni thinking.”  For more random thoughts check back in from time to time,  you never know what I’m thinking.
